Week 5 Recap: Tuesday Edition
Football is back Beats Chappers NZ Choppers, Tacks On 3rd Straight Win
- Updated: Tuesday October 08, 2024 12:59:36 PM CUT
- Share
Football is back picked up 22.70 points from Brandon Aiyuk (147 Rec Yds) and 16.40 from Chase Brown (46 Rsh Yds, 1 2PT, 1 Rec TD) to get the win over Chappers NZ Choppers 99.40 to 91.82. Football is back has now won three in a row. The Cincinnati RB (acquired via free agency in Week 4) and Jake Ferguson (acquired via free agency in Week 4) made a big impact, posting 16.40 and 13.00 points, respectively. Football is back (3-2, 526.50 points) climbs into third place and Chappers NZ Choppers (2-3, 495.44 points) drops to eighth place.
Both teams had a fairly important player that let some chances slip away. Interestingly enough, Dontayvion Wicks (on Football is back) and Marvin Harrison Jr. (Chappers NZ Choppers) were able to match each other's futility. They each saw seven targets, yet could only reel in two catches apiece. There are a few spots where Chappers NZ Choppers made a blunder, unfortunately. Jakobi Meyers could have started in place of either Marvin Harrison Jr. or George Pickens, while Raheem Mostert could've played over Braelon Allen. Any of those point differentials would've been enough to win.
Next week, Football is back squares off against Steelers (2-3, 582.96), while Chappers NZ Choppers gets BayArea (2-3, 509.66).
