Bayern Bears Picks Up Victory over Otiloppi, Will Play for Championship
Bayern Bears registered the eighth-highest point total of the season and beat Otiloppi 157.66 to 136.76. Bayern Bears goes to 1-1 this season against Otiloppi, avenging a Week 8 loss (147.20 to 137.02) the last time the teams met. De'Von Achane led Otiloppi with 31.00 points (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD) while Derrick Henry brought in 20.90 (162 Rsh Yds, 27 Rec Yds). To make matters worse, Otiloppi had a starter score zero points (Younghoe Koo).
Along with being the one defense to tally a negative score, the San Francisco 49ers DEF (on Otiloppi) represented the only starter in the whole league to do so.
For the winners, several players have been warming up at the right time, including the Atlanta Falcons DEF and Brian Thomas Jr. Over the past month, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 176% and 57%, respectively. Despite the playoff loss, Davante Adams was playing well during the stretch run for Otiloppi. Over the last four games, he has averaged 26.52 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 94%.
