Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Staines Stains Picks Up Win Against Balls Deep and Stays Undefeated in the Series

In a shootout between this week's two highest-scoring teams, Staines Stains defeated Balls Deep 169.40 to 155.40. This is the most a team has scored this season without getting a victory. The loss drops Balls Deep to 5th (7-8) in the standings. Staines Stains (12-3) is in second place and has the second-highest points per game average at 133.29. However, the scoring output was tough to predict given that Staines Stains was only projected to score 129.25 points and Balls Deep was expected to score 116.33 points. Amon-Ra St. Brown (193 Rec Yds, 1 TD) got 37.30 points and Jalen Hurts (290 Pas Yds, 45 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) scored 28.10 points, exceeding their projections by 125.4% and 41.3%, respectively. Balls Deep was led by Lamar Jackson (290 Pas Yds, 65 Rsh Yds, 5 TD), who amassed 36.10 points, and Jerry Jeudy (108 Rec Yds), who finished with 21.80. That pair topped their scoring projections by 66.1% and 60.1%, respectively.

There was one player on Staines Stains that let some chances slip away. Even though Courtland Sutton saw a total of nine targets, he reeled in just three catches.

Since St. Brown was the top point-getter for Staines Stains, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 46.20 points, Saquon Barkley paced the squad in Week 12, while Trey McBride (21.60 points) was tops in Week 13 and Jalen Hurts (24.22 points) last week. To go along with the fantasy victory, Staines Stains was savvy enough to pick winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Brown was the only one that didn't play on a winning NFL team in Week 15.

Staines Stains is playoff-bound next week.
