      Week 7 Recap: Tuesday Edition

SkolVikes22 Gets Win over Kelsey for 3rd in a Row

A rally on Monday Night Football (53.80 points, 52% of their total score) wasn't enough for Kelsey, as SkolVikes22 pulled out the 109.84 to 103.50 victory. The NFL gurus were spot on with their forecasts this week, as the pregame projections had called for 54.30 MNF points for Kelsey. SkolVikes22 was led by Saquon Barkley (176 Rsh Yds, 1 TD). The Philadelphia RB rushed for 176 yards and contributed 26.70 points to the cause. With Tank Dell delivering zero points for SkolVikes22, the margin could have been larger. Kelsey (3-4, 765.46 points) drops to eighth place, while SkolVikes22 (5-2, 911.84 points) remains in first place.

Further evaluating the matchup, Kelsey can ultimately blame their WR, Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk was projected to put up 12.30 points, wound up with 4.30, and that difference was enough for SkolVikes22 to capitalize.

Considering Isaiah Likely could only put up 3.70 points, SkolVikes22 got pretty lucky that Kelsey's top TE was on his bye week. If Cole Kmet (12.15 points per game this year) was active and hit his per-game figure, SkolVikes22 would've been beaten by 2.11 points. Since Barkley was the top point-getter for SkolVikes22, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 23.40 points, Mike Evans paced the squad in Week 4, while Ja'Marr Chase (41.30 points) was tops in Week 5 and Josh Allen (24.40 points) last week.

SkolVikes22 faces Carl (3-4, 706.32) in Week 8. Kelsey takes on Nicholas (3-4, 893.26), who is averaging an impressive 127.61 points per game.
