      Week 7 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Jacob Snatches Win from Jonte, Drops Them into 5th Place

Facing a 26.52-point deficit on Monday night, Jacob scored 45.70 to defeat Jonte 145.36 to 126.18. They also put up the highest score of the week. Each team met their expectations, but Jacob scored 26.3% more than their projected 115.06 points to get the win. Jonte was led by Bijan Robinson with 23.30 points (103 Rsh Yds, 40 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and Kenneth Walker III, who scored 23.30 (69 Rsh Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD). Jonte (3-4, 857.34 points) drops to fifth place and Jacob (5-2, 797.58 points) remains in third place.

Since Hurts was the leading point-getter for Jacob, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 20.70 points, Zack Moss paced the squad in Week 3, while Mike Evans put up 23.40 points to lead the way in Week 4. Darnell Mooney (31.50 points) was tops in Week 5 and A.J. Brown (23.60 points) led in Week 6. Also, with 24 touches this week for Bijan Robinson, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.

Jacob will meet Aaron (3-4, 795.52) next week. Jonte gets Oleout (6-1, 893.92), who sits in first place.
