      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Oleout Throat-Punches Aaron to Get Shot at Championship

Oleout remains unbeaten in two matchups against Aaron after another beatdown, this time by a final score of 172.48 to 100.58. They move to 15-1, while Aaron slips to 8-8. A hard-charging Saquon Barkley (150 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) amassed 27.00 points this week, although it was a little less than his 32.90 points the last time these two teams met.

Dowdle had plenty of opportunities for Aaron, but could only manage 51 total yards on 16 touches.

For the victors, Jordan Addison is peaking at the right time. Over the past month, he has outperformed his season scoring average by 50%. Despite the loss, Aaron had a pair of players peaking for the postseason: Puka Nacua and the Kansas City Chiefs DEF. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 22.62 and 9.50 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 86% and 51%. Conversely, the losers had a player who was fading down the stretch. Breece Hall has dipped below his yearly average by 43% over the past month.

Oleout rolled into the playoffs following a consistently strong regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Oleout battles No. 3-seeded Jonte. Jonte is riding a six-game winning streak. Aaron concluded the regular season in fourth place with a record of 8-7. They also ranked fourth in the league with 120.66 points per game. Aaron was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
