Behind Three Big Performances, Ploen Pirates Puts the Sting on Navy Shellbacks
The three-headed monster of Jordan Addison, Jauan Jennings, and Isaac Guerendo led the way, as Ploen Pirates dismantled Navy Shellbacks 143.06 to 95.42. That threesome combined to record 94.10 points, significantly outperforming Jalen Hurts, Cooper Kupp, and Pat Freiermuth (58.22 combined points), the top three on Navy Shellbacks. Addison scored three touchdowns, registering 39.30 points (133 Rec Yds, 3 TD). Meanwhile, Jennings came through with two touchdowns (28.00 points) and Guerendo scored two touchdowns (26.80 points). Also, Addison recorded his highest point total of the season. With 143.06 points, Ploen Pirates had their highest total of the season. Both teams left points off the scoreboard as Ploen Pirates had one starter turn in zero points and Navy Shellbacks had two. Ploen Pirates (2-12, 1,468.58 points) climbs into ninth place. Navy Shellbacks, despite the loss, clinches a playoff spot this week (fourth place, 9-5, 1,701.76 points).
