Nix Six Smokes Ronnie, Gets Redemption
Nix Six got 30.30 points from Trey McBride (123 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and 24.80 from Bijan Robinson (90 Rsh Yds, 2 TD), crushing Ronnie 130.40 to 89.40. Nix Six goes to 1-1 this season against Ronnie, avenging a Week 8 waxing (144.00 to 92.54) the last time the teams met. Ronnie was led by Patrick Mahomes with 26.00 points (320 Pas Yds, 3 TD) and Puka Nacua, who scored 22.90 (129 Rec Yds). On top of the loss, Ronnie had two starters score zero points (David Njoku and David Montgomery).
Achane had plenty of opportunities for Ronnie, but could only manage 38 total yards on 12 touches.
For the victorious side, a pair of players have been postseason stars : Calvin Ridley and McBride.
