The output of Jayden Daniels paved the way, as 4th and 10 came back to defeat Edward 120.18 to 93.44. The Washington QB went off for 31.78 points in a 26.74-point victory for 4th and 10. He passed for three touchdowns as part of his huge game (227 Pas Yds, 127 Rsh Yds, 3 TD/1 Int). The outcome could have been worse as 4th and 10 had a starter score zero points (CeeDee Lamb).
On 4th and 10, the Pittsburgh Steelers DEF wasn't just the one DEF to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the entire league in the negatives.
For the victors, two players have been late-season stars : Daniels and Mark Andrews. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 55% and 35%, respectively. On the other hand, 4th and 10 has a couple of players heading in the opposite direction. The Steelers D and Lamb have both fallen significantly short of their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the playoff loss, Keenan Allen was playing well in the postseason for Edward. During that stretch, he has averaged 18.30 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 58%. Conversely, the losers had a player who fell flat on the biggest stage. Averaging 15.39 points on the season, Joe Mixon tallied 7.00 per game in the playoffs.
4th and 10 ended the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-8. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly better (fifth with 118.76). In their only other postseason game along the way to winning the consolation trophy, 4th and 10 beat Nix Six, 122.02 to 104.98. Edward wrapped up the regular season in fifth place with a record of 7-8. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly better (fourth with 119.45). In their only other postseason game of the season, Edward defeated Ronnie, 144.48 to 133.70.
