Week 8 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Sleeper Agent Overwhelms Battering Rams, Streak Now at Three

The tag team of Jared Verse and Will Anderson Jr. carried the team, as Sleeper Agent overwhelmed Battering Rams 44.50 to 22.00. That tandem joined forces to tally 20.50 points, significantly outperforming Brian Burns and the Denver Broncos DEF (17.00 combined points), the top two on Battering Rams. Verse (1 Sack) delivered 11.50 points, while Jr. (1 Sack, 1 Fum, 5 Tack) also pitched in 9.00 for the victors. Sleeper Agent took a 13.50-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Battering Rams just doesn't have what it takes to beat Sleeper Agent, who extended their career unbeaten streak to two games in the series. Eric Murray (acquired via free agency in Week 5) made a big impact, posting 6.00 points. Sleeper Agent started two players with zero points while Battering Rams served up four goose eggs, meaning both sides missed scoring opportunities. Battering Rams (3-5, 308.50 points) drops to eighth place and Sleeper Agent (6-2, 419.00 points) remains in first place.

While Dexter Lawrence led Sleeper Agent in Week 7 with 16.00 points, Verse paved the way this week with 11.50.

Next week, Sleeper Agent meets The Double Doinks (5-3, 315.00). Battering Rams takes on BIGDOGINTEX (2-6, 315.00), who sits in last place.
