To go along with the fantasy victory, Thundars Barbarians was savvy enough to choose winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Keenan Allen was the only one that didn't play on a winning NFL team in Week 15.
For the winners, a few players have been getting hot at the right time, most notably the Cincinnati Bengals DEF and K. Allen. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 92% and 64%, respectively. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 22.22 and 17.77 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 41% and 38%. Conversely, the losers had a couple of players who were fading down the stretch: Brock Purdy and Kupp.
On the heels of a second-half run, Thundars Barbarians squeezed into the playoffs as the No. 7 seed. They move on to the semifinals where they face No. 3-seeded Ziggy. These teams last met in Week 8, with Ziggy winning, 132.65 to 125.65. Moist Valuable Players ended the regular season with a record of 11-3, good for second place.
