Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

LaPorta Potty Snatches One from Jockstrap Wagner to Even Season Series

LaPorta Potty took advantage of 29.60 points from Jonathan Taylor (125 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) and 18.40 from Sam LaPorta (64 Rec Yds, 1 TD), defeating Jockstrap Wagner 112.10 to 107.34. LaPorta Potty came into the Monday night game facing a 13.64-point deficit, but scored 18.40 for the comeback victory. LaPorta Potty goes to 1-1 this season against Jockstrap Wagner, avenging a Week 4 loss (114.34 to 108.66) the last time the teams met. Jockstrap Wagner was led by Travis Kelce with 22.40 points (84 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and Ja'Marr Chase, who scored 20.20 (102 Rec Yds). The result might have been even worse as LaPorta Potty had a starter score zero points (Alvin Kamara).

There was one fairly important player on LaPorta Potty that missed out on some opportunities. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.

For the winners, LaPorta is peaking during the playoffs. He has topped his season scoring average by 82% during the postseason run. On the other hand, LaPorta Potty also has a player moving in the wrong direction, as Alvin Kamara has fallen well beneath his year-to-date average since the playoffs began. Darnell Mooney was cold in the playoffs for Jockstrap Wagner. After registering 12.63 points per game on the season, he recorded 2.85 per game in the postseason.
