Final Score 158.50 | 181.50 |
Each team saved their best for prime time in what turned out to be a 181.50 to 158.50 The Dawg Pound victory. The Dawg Pound put up a great Sunday night with 74.00 points on SNF (41% of their total score) and Chargers put up a not-too-shabby Monday of their own with 65.00 points on MNF (41% of their score). The late production was pretty incredible, as the original projections called for The Dawg Pound to have only 32.00 points on Sunday night, while Chargers was forecasted for just 36.00 MNF points. The Dawg Pound was led by Sam Darnold this week (290 Pas Yds, 3 TD/2 Int). Darnold passed for three touchdowns and provided 43.00 points to the final tally. Myles Garrett also helped the cause with 22.50 points by getting three sacks (3 Sack, 4 Tack). The Dawg Pound played two starters with zero points while Chargers served up one goose egg, meaning both teams could have scored more points. The 181.50 points represented the highest individual total of the season for The Dawg Pound. The Dawg Pound (3-6, 1,327.50 points) climbs into 10th place, while Chargers (3-6, 1,268.00 points) drops to 12th place.
There was one starter on The Dawg Pound that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Even though DJ Moore saw a total of nine targets, he reeled in just four catches.
Darnold has now led The Dawg Pound in scoring for three straight weeks.
Next week, The Dawg Pound will face Hurts So Good (3-6, 1,320.50). Chargers takes on Dem Bucking Broncs (4-5, 1,131.00), who they lost to in Week 6.
Reed made five catches for 113 yards, the first time he's had 100 receiving yards since he had 139 against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4.
Dobbins had 14 carries for 85 yards and two TDs, giving him a rushing touchdown in each of his last two games.
The 9.00 points scored by Seibert this week was good enough to rank sixth among Ks.
With 12.50 points (1 Int, 7 Tack, 3 Ast), Cross tallied the 10th-highest score for a DB this week.
With 13.00 points (7 PA, 3 Sack, 1 Int, 1 Fum), the Vikings Defense tallied the eighth-highest score for a DEF this week.
With 8.00 points, Folk tallied the ninth-highest score for a K this week.
