      Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Bearded Ginger Picks Up Victory over The Raven Kid, Headed to Semifinals

A primetime rally on both Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football wasn't enough for The Raven Kid. They had 31.90 points on SNF and 24.00 on MNF (combining to be 56% of their total score), but Bearded Ginger still earned the 141.05 to 99.55 victory. Bearded Ginger was led by James Cook (105 Rsh Yds, 28 Rec Yds, 2 TD). Cook scored two touchdowns and provided 32.30 points to the final tally.

Zach Charbonnet ultimately deserved more touches for The Raven Kid, as he put up a whopping 66 total yards on just nine touches.

For the victors, a pair of players have been getting hot at the right time: Bucky Irving and Trey McBride. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 41% and 34%, respectively. Conversely, Bearded Ginger has a player trending the opposite way. Geno Smith has fallen well beneath his year-to-date average recently. Despite the playoff loss, Zach Charbonnet was playing well during the stretch run for The Raven Kid. Over the last four games, he has averaged 18.05 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 50%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was tailing off at the end of the year. Josh Downs has fallen short of his yearly average by 45% over the past month.

Powered by a second-half run, Bearded Ginger qualified for the playoffs as the No. 3 seed. They march on to the semifinals where they go up against No. 2-seeded The Pigskin Pals, who is coming off a bye week. Bearded Ginger has a 1-1 record against The Pigskin Pals this season. The Raven Kid finished the regular season in sixth place with a record of 7-7. Catching some unlucky breaks, they ranked third in the league in points per game with 128.33. The Raven Kid was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
