Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Fish Tank Smashes Randys Chuckle, Will Play for Championship

The tag team of De'Von Achane and Lamar Jackson carried the team, as Fish Tank overpowered Randys Chuckle 184.35 to 124.60. That tandem teamed up to score 65.55 points, significantly more than Saquon Barkley and Brock Bowers (53.90 combined points), the top two on Randys Chuckle. Jackson passed for three touchdowns, accumulating 28.55 points (207 Pas Yds, 3 TD/1 Int). For the winners, Achane also tacked on 37.00 points (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD). This matchup saw three lead changes, with the largest lead being 59.75 points after Monday night. Fish Tank has been dominating this matchup as of late, winning three straight against Randys Chuckle. This is the third consecutive week Fish Tank has improved upon their previous week's point total. They got 142.75 points two weeks ago, 157.10 last week, and 184.35 this week.

There were two starters that missed out on chances for Fish Tank. Even though DK Metcalf and Tyreek Hill saw a total of 14 combined targets, they were able to reel in just six catches between them.

For the winning team, a few players have been getting hot at the right time, including Dalton Schultz and the Green Bay Packers DEF. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 51% and 32%, respectively. Conversely, Fish Tank has two players trending the opposite way. DK Metcalf and Rhamondre Stevenson have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages recently.

Fish Tank wrapped up the No. 2 seed, leveraging a quick start to the campaign. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Fish Tank matches up against top-seeded Box Of Redemption. These teams most recently clashed in Week 9, with Box Of Redemption winning, 155.15 to 136.30. Randys Chuckle concluded the regular season in third place with a record of 9-5. They also ranked third in the league with 138.72 points per game. In their only other postseason game of the season, Randys Chuckle beat Arizona chargers, 153.50 to 121.55.
