      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Barnyard Pimps Gets Win over Tuff Call, Moves on to Championship

Barnyard Pimps defeated Tuff Call 132.80 to 120.70 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 11-4, while Tuff Call drops to 7-9. Chuba Hubbard rushed for 152 yards and was the difference this week, putting up 35.50 points for Barnyard Pimps. The Carolina RB has had a surprisingly good year for Barnyard Pimps, scoring an average of 16.91 points per game.

One spot where Tuff Call is really kicking themselves is running back. Jerome Ford could have started in place of Joe Mixon, and that point difference would have been enough to earn the win.

For the winners, a couple of players have been hitting their strides at the right time: the Cincinnati Bengals DEF and Josh Allen. Over the past four games, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 112% and 33%, respectively. Despite the loss, Tuff Call had a pair of players performing their best in the playoffs: the Baltimore Ravens DEF and CeeDee Lamb. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 10.00 and 25.05 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 65% and 37%. On the other hand, the losers had several players who struggled in the playoff spotlight, including Mixon and Trey McBride.

Next week, the league championship will be decided when Barnyard Pimps faces top-seeded Blue Magic. Barnyard Pimps is winless against Blue Magic in two matchups this season, with their most recent loss coming in Week 13. Tuff Call ended the regular season in sixth place with a record of 6-8. From a points per game perspective, they ranked slightly better (fifth with 129.65). In their only other postseason game of the season, Tuff Call beat ChiefSkol, 136.05 to 109.25.
