A rally on both Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football wasn't enough for ChiefSkol. They had 23.85 points on SNF and 20.30 on MNF (combining to be 40% of their total score), but Tuff Call still pulled out the 136.05 to 109.25 victory. Tuff Call was led by CeeDee Lamb this week, who provided 29.60 points (116 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Joe Burrow also helped the cause with 25.55 points on three passing touchdowns (271 Pas Yds, 3 TD/2 Int).
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but missed out on opportunities. On the winning side, Joe Mixon got 17 touches but only tallied 56 total yards, while Tony Pollard managed just 45 yards on 17 touches for ChiefSkol.
In addition to the fantasy W, Tuff Call was savvy enough to choose winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, David Montgomery is the only one that suited up on a losing NFL team in Week 15.
For the winners, Trey McBride is playing his best at the right time. Over the past four fantasy matchups, he has surpassed his season scoring average by 34%. Despite the playoff loss, Sam LaPorta was playing well during the stretch run for ChiefSkol. Over the last four games, he has averaged 13.00 points, exceeding his year-to-date number by 39%.
After a workman-like campaign, Tuff Call squeezed into the playoffs as the No. 6 seed. They move on to the semifinals where they will face No. 2-seeded Barnyard Pimps, who is coming off a bye week. These teams most recently clashed in Week 8, with Barnyard Pimps winning, 139.15 to 122.05. ChiefSkol wrapped up the regular season with a record of 10-4, good for third place. When considering points per game, they ranked slightly worse (fourth with 131.09). ChiefSkol was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outperforming opponents by 15.69 points per game.
