      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Cyber Warriors Beats Killer Koalas, Evens Series

Sam Darnold passed for 377 yards (37.55 points) and Jonathan Taylor scored two touchdowns (30.60 points) as Cyber Warriors took down Killer Koalas 143.35 to 105.60. Cyber Warriors took a 13.40-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. This win was revenge for a loss to Killer Koalas in their last meeting a season ago. Bucky Irving led Killer Koalas with 26.00 points (113 Rsh Yds, 77 Rec Yds) while Zach Ertz racked up 25.20 (72 Rec Yds, 2 TD). To make matters worse, Killer Koalas had two starters score zero points (CeeDee Lamb and Jalen Hurts).

There was one player on Cyber Warriors that missed out on some chances. Despite being targeted seven times, Terry McLaurin could only reel in one catch.

For the victors, a pair of players have been heating up in the postseason : the Baltimore Ravens DEF and Sam LaPorta. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 110% and 87%, respectively. On the other hand, Cyber Warriors has a player heading in the opposite direction. Nico Collins has fallen significantly short of his year-to-date average in the postseason by 34%. Despite the loss, Killer Koalas also had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Ertz and the Denver Broncos DEF. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 14.85 and 16.50 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 63% and 51%. Conversely, the losers had a couple of players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Jalen Hurts and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
