Sleeper Agent defeated virgils vixens 248.00 to 218.00 and put up the second-highest score of the week. Sleeper Agent took a 5.00-point lead on Thursday and maintained an advantage throughout the matchup. Sleeper Agent gets revenge for a Week 11 pasting (291.00 to 179.00) and improves to 1-1 this season against virgils vixens. Sleeper Agent, already one of the highest-scoring teams in the league this season, beat their 141.50 per game average by 75%. Both teams could have scored more points as Sleeper Agent had four starters turn in zero points and virgils vixens had three.
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but left some points out on the field. On the winning side, Isiah Pacheco got 14 touches but only tallied 47 total yards, while Tyrone Tracy Jr. managed just 35 yards on 11 touches for virgils vixens.
For the winners, several players have been playing their best at the right time, most notably Aaron Rodgers and Jaylen Waddle. Over the past four games, that duo has outperformed their season scoring averages by 134% and 44%, respectively. On the other hand, Sleeper Agent has two players moving in the wrong direction. The Los Angeles Chargers DEF and Alontae Taylor have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages recently. Despite the loss, virgils vixens also had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Isaac Guerendo and Leonard Williams. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 14.75 and 33.62 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 131% and 87%. Conversely, the losers had a pair of players who were fading down the stretch: Justin Herbert and Cooper Kupp.
Sleeper Agent squeezed into the playoffs, powered by a red-hot first half. They march on to play No. 2-seeded Kizzys Krackbacks, who had a bye this week. These teams most recently clashed in Week 7, with Kizzys Krackbacks winning, 148.00 to 73.00. virgils vixens wrapped up the regular season in third place with a record of 8-6. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (second with 155.71). virgils vixens was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
