Week 15 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Toronto Bandits Gets Win over London Falling for 3rd Straight Win

Toronto Bandits remains undefeated on the year in two matchups against London Falling with a 154.26 to 110.80 victory. Their overall record goes to 11-4, while London Falling falls to 6-9. London Falling just does not match up to Toronto Bandits, who pushed their career unbeaten streak to three games. Brian Thomas Jr. scored two touchdowns and was the team leader this week, getting 27.50 points. Jr. continues to be a marvelous late-round pickup for Toronto Bandits, scoring an average of 13.33 points per game.

London Falling had one important player that missed out on some chances. Even though Rome Odunze saw a total of seven targets, he only reeled in two catches.

To go along with the fantasy victory, Toronto Bandits was savvy enough to select winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Jr. is the only one that didn't play on a winning NFL team in Week 15. Also, with 14 targets this week for Jr., it means that his targets have now increased in four consecutive games.

For the winning team, a few players have been playing their best at the right time, including Noah Gray and the Denver Broncos DEF. Over the past month, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 55% and 41%, respectively. London Falling had a player who was cooling off at the wrong time. D'Andre Swift has fallen short of his yearly average by 37% over the past month.

Toronto Bandits breezed into the playoffs following a dominating wire-to-wire regular season. They march on to the semifinals where they face No. 6-seeded Milan Wild Boars. These teams last met in Week 3, with Milan Wild Boars winning, 130.76 to 108.38. London Falling concluded the regular season in seventh place with a record of 6-8. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly better (sixth with 117.06). London Falling was sent home quickly this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
