Dublin Bay Prawns had an excellent primetime showing with 48.90 points on Monday Night Football (36% of their total score) to blow out Toronto Bandits 136.94 to 86.00. The late heroics were especially impressive, as they were originally projected to put up just 28.98 points on Monday night. Dublin Bay Prawns was led by Joe Mixon (109 Rsh Yds, 44 Rec Yds, 3 TD). Mixon scored three touchdowns and provided 34.30 points in the blowout. With Ricky Pearsall delivering zero points for Dublin Bay Prawns, the gap could have been wider. Dublin Bay Prawns (9-2, 1,343.26 points) climbs into first place. Toronto Bandits, despite the loss, clinches a playoff spot this week (second place, 8-3, 1,332.60 points).
There was one player on Toronto Bandits that missed out on opportunities. Even though Cedric Tillman saw a total of eight targets, he reeled in just three catches.
Since Mixon was the top point-getter for Dublin Bay Prawns, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 33.10 points, CeeDee Lamb paced the squad in Week 8, while DeAndre Hopkins (24.60 points) was tops in Week 9 and Chase Brown (17.90 points) in Week 10.
Dublin Bay Prawns goes up against Buenos Aires Blue Dogs (5-6, 1,036.16) next week. Toronto Bandits gets Scandinavian Stars (5-6, 1,234.84).
