Daniel Rallies Against Stampeders, Expels Them from 1st Place
Daniel (third place, 5-2, 927.40 points) drops Stampeders (5-2, 1,015.00 points) out of the top spot in the league, beating them 141.04 to 133.84. They put up the second-highest score of the week and also came back from a 7.14-point deficit on Monday night. Daniel is now on a three-game winning streak. Even though these teams are tied for third place with matching 5-2 records, Stampeders has a solid lead in points, 1,015.00 to 927.40.
Tyler Allgeier probably deserved more touches for Daniel, as he put up a whopping 45 total yards on just six touches. A spot where Stampeders is wishing they could get a do-over is quarterback. Joe Burrow could have started in place of Jayden Daniels, and that point difference would have been enough to secure the victory.
While Terry McLaurin led Daniel weeks (with 23.30 points), Jackson has now been the team's leading scorer in two of the past three matches. Also, with 24 touches this week for Bijan Robinson, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.
