Matthew (3-0, 345.76 points) slipped by South Bronx Bombers (2-1, 363.98 points) 84.84 to 83.44. They were led by Khalil Shakir (72 Rec Yds, 1 TD) with 19.20 points as well as Alvin Kamara (87 Rsh Yds, 40 Rec Yds), who had 15.70. Matthew was first to put points on the board and went into Sunday with a 14.30 to 0.00 lead. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 9.34. However, Matthew emerged victorious with a comeback on Monday night.
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but left points out on the field. On the winning side, James Conner got 10 touches but only tallied 25 total yards, while Josh Jacobs managed just 48 yards on 15 touches for South Bronx Bombers.
Matthew gets a challenge in Week 4 when they go up against Mamba (1-2, 377.12), who averages a stout 125.71 points per game. South Bronx Bombers gets Winnies (2-1, 304.30).
