Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Harrison recorded the highest score of the week and took down Inigo 146.68 to 134.38. Harrison goes to 1-1 this season against Inigo, avenging a Week 8 loss (142.64 to 129.44) the last time the teams met. Inigo was led by Brock Purdy with 30.28 points (377 Pas Yds, 3 Pas TD/2 Int, 1 Rsh TD) and Drake London, who scored 17.60 (106 Rec Yds). With Kenneth Walker III delivering zero points for Harrison, the gap could have been wider.
There was one player on Inigo that left points out on the field. Even though George Pickens saw a total of seven targets, he reeled in just three catches. A spot where Inigo is really kicking themselves is wide receiver. Jalen McMillan could have started in place of George Pickens, and that point difference could have changed the outcome.
In addition to the fantasy W, Harrison was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, George Kittle was the only one that suited up on a losing NFL team in Week 17.
For the winners, a few players have been playoff studs, including Bucky Irving and Cameron Dicker. During the playoffs, that duo has bettered their season scoring averages by 51% and 41%, respectively. On the other hand, Harrison has a pair of players heading in the opposite direction. Kenneth Walker III and Josh Allen have both substantially underperformed their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, Inigo also had several players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Jaylen Warren and Jake Elliott. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 15.20 and 14.00 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 116% and 84%. Conversely, the losers had two players who struggled in the playoff spotlight: Pickens and the Minnesota Vikings DEF.
