Final Score 109.66 | 118.10 |
Down 10.26 on Monday night, TUSKS came back, taking down Cleats and Cleavage 118.10 to 109.66. TUSKS got 29.90 points from Jalen Hurts (230 Pas Yds, 67 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD) and 18.70 from DeVonta Smith (87 Rec Yds, 1 TD). While each team failed to hit their projections, TUSKS scored 98.0% of their projected 120.46 points to get the win. Kareem Hunt (acquired via free agency in Week 3) and Terry McLaurin (acquired via free agency in Week 3) made a big impact, posting 18.70 and 15.90 points, respectively. TUSKS (5-4, 1,094.00 points) remains in fifth place and Cleats and Cleavage (4-5, 1,057.28 points) stays in eighth place.
Further analyzing the match, Cleats and Cleavage can trace the loss back to their their man under center, Kyler Murray. Murray had been projected to score 18.06 points, wound up with 4.76, and that difference was enough for TUSKS to take the win.
In addition to the fantasy W, TUSKS was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Chris Olave is the only one that suited up on a losing NFL team in Week 9. Hurts has now led TUSKS in scoring in consecutive weeks.
In Week 10, TUSKS faces SteelTerror (5-4, 1,089.24). Cleats and Cleavage takes on SoRavenLDMP (2-7, 809.30), who sits in last place.
Hunt now has a rushing TD in each of his last four games. This week he put up 27 carries for 106 yards and a TD.
This was the first week Reed has had 100 yards receiving yards since he went for 139 against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. He had five catches for 113 yards this week.
The 11.00 points scored by McPherson this week was good enough to rank fifth among Ks.
Seibert scored 9.00 points, the ninth-highest score of any K in the league this week.
The Vikings Defense (7 PA, 3 Sack, 1 Int, 1 Fum) scored 11.00 points, the sixth-highest score of any DEF in the league this week.
Smith made four catches for 87 yards and a TD, giving him at least 50 yards and a touchdown in each of his last two games.
