Around The League
- TUSKS continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score five weeks in a row.
- SoRavenLDMP won this week, even without starting a top-30 scoring WR.
- Teams have won 57.1% of the time this season when they throw no interceptions in a week.
- No surprise here: teams have won 80.0% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (4-1 overall).
- Cleats and Cleavage played their cards right this week with the league's top-scoring RB (Cook with 28.30 points) and the top-scoring WR (Lamb with 39.60).
- Unfortunately, Ryan fell short of their projected score for the third straight week.
- Lisa is on a three-game winning streak.
- Natalie probably wishes they had started Ladd McConkey. The 29.10 points he scored would have represented the fifth-highest individual score this week.

Cleats and Cleavage (4-4, 947.62 points) got the win over Big phineas (4-4, 981.78 points) 151.24 to 130.50 in a matchup with four lead changes. They also put up the second-highest score for the week. Big phineas began the Sunday games already ahead 35.60 to 22.60. That advantage evaporated by the end of the early Sunday games and they trailed by 11.94. After the late Sunday games, the lead went back the other way 130.50 to 111.64. However, Cleats and Cleavage took the lead for good during the Cowboys/49ers game on Sunday night.
Walker had plenty of opportunities for Big phineas, but could only manage 45 total yards on 13 touches.
Since Lamb was the leading point-getter for Cleats and Cleavage, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 27.10 points, Jayden Reed paced the squad in Week 4, while James Cook put up 17.90 points to lead the way in Week 5. Jordan Love (25.62 points) was tops in Week 6 and Kyren Williams (19.60 points) led in Week 7. Additionally, with 17 targets this week for CeeDee Lamb, it means that his targets have now increased in four consecutive games.
Cleats and Cleavage faces TUSKS (4-4, 975.90) in Week 9. Big phineas gets last-place SoRavenLDMP (2-6, 711.46).
