The top performances by a couple of Detroit Lions (Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs) led the way for Big phineas. They overpowered Harlem 153.36 to 71.24. That tandem teamed up to score 69.46 points in the win. Goff passed for five touchdowns (494 Pas Yds, 5 TD), adding 41.06 points. Gibbs recorded two touchdowns (31 Rsh Yds, 83 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD) to chip in 28.40 points. Also, Goff recorded the third-highest point total in the league this week. The 82.12-point win for Big phineas was the third-largest in the league this year. Big phineas played one starter with zero points while Harlem also served up one goose egg, meaning each team left something on the table. Big phineas (8-7, 1,833.04 points) climbs into fifth place. Harlem, despite the loss, clinches a playoff spot this week (third place, 9-6, 1,798.78 points).
Justice Hill ultimately deserved more touches for Big phineas, as he put up a whopping 68 total yards on just seven touches.
While Jahmyr Gibbs led Big phineas in Week 12 (with 24.90 points) and Jared Goff in Week 13 (16.94 points), Goff has now been the team's leading scorer in three of the last five weeks.
Harlem heads to next week's playoffs.
