maxifootball Beats Football Fanatic to Claim League's Top Spot
Each team saved their best for last in what turned out to be a 125.78 to 109.22 maxifootball win. maxifootball put up an excellent Sunday night with 47.80 points on SNF (38% of their total score) and Football Fanatic put up a not-too-shabby Monday of their own with 41.92 points on MNF (38% of their score). The late-match production was impressive, since the original projections called for maxifootball to have 29.93 points on Sunday night, while Football Fanatic was predicted for 29.41 MNF points. maxifootball was led by Rashee Rice this week, who added 29.10 points (110 Rec Yds, 1 TD). Dallas Goedert also pitched in with 27.00 points with 170 receiving yards (170 Rec Yds). maxifootball (2-1, 383.40 points) climbs into first place, while Football Fanatic (0-3, 316.66 points) stays in the cellar.
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but didn't capitalize on opportunities. On the winning side, J.K. Dobbins got 18 touches but only tallied 54 total yards, while Josh Jacobs managed just 48 yards on 15 touches for Football Fanatic. One slot where Football Fanatic wishes they could get a do-over is RB. Zack Moss could have started in place of Rhamondre Stevenson, and that point difference would've changed the outcome.
