Walter Rips Apart Mile High Wranglers, Takes Over 1st Place
Walter (8-5, 1,600.26 points) takes ownership of first place after drubbing Mile High Wranglers (fifth place, 7-6, 1,457.40 points) 132.12 to 87.88. De'Von Achane (14 Rsh Yds, 56 Rec Yds, 1 Rec TD) led Walter with 21.00 points. Walter took a 45.80-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. Walter goes to 1-1 this season against Mile High Wranglers, avenging a Week 4 loss (111.90 to 97.82) the last time the teams met.
Christian McCaffrey probably deserved more touches for Walter, as he put up a whopping 67 total yards on just nine touches.
While Puka Nacua led Walter in Week 12 with 20.70 points, Achane paved the way this week with 21.00.
Walter faces Silver Sack Attack (8-5, 1,579.24) next week. Mile High Wranglers will take on Detroitfan1978 (6-7, 1,494.10).
