Final Score 160.00 | 116.10 |
With the two-man wrecking crew of De'Von Achane and Garrett Wilson leading the charge, Walter defeated Detroitfan1978 160.00 to 116.10. That tandem joined forces to record 62.10 points, clearly outpacing DeAndre Hopkins and Davante Adams (50.70 combined points), the top two on Detroitfan1978. Achane scored two touchdowns, registering 32.10 points (63 Rsh Yds, 58 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD, 1 Rec TD). Wilson also delivered two touchdowns on his way to 30.00 points (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD). A primetime rally on Monday Night Football (30.60 MNF points, 26% of their final score) wasn't enough for Detroitfan1978. Walter took a 7.90-point lead on Thursday and never looked back. Having won five straight, Walter is officially a contender. Chase Brown (acquired via free agency in Week 4) made a big impact, posting 26.70 points. To make matters worse, Detroitfan1978 received no points from George Kittle. Walter (6-3, 1,103.76 points) remains in third place and Detroitfan1978 (4-5, 984.90 points) stays in seventh place.
Since Achane was the leading scorer for Walter, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the past seven weeks.
Next week, Walter faces Onis (6-3, 1,104.50), who puts up an impressive 122.72 points per game. Detroitfan1978 gets Silver Sack Attack (5-4, 1,034.72).
With 29.90 points, Hurts set the high-water mark this week for any QB.
Brown had 27 carries for a season-high 120 yards.
This was the first week Reed has had 100 yards receiving yards since he went for 139 against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. He had five catches for 113 yards this week.
Gibbs now has a rushing TD in each of his last three games. This week he put up 11 carries for 65 yards and a TD.
St. Brown made seven catches for 56 yards and a TD, giving him a touchdown in each of his last six games.
Wilson (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD) scored 30.00 points, the second-highest score of any WR in the league this week.
