Minutemen defeated Tejas Hombres 101.46 to 95.14 to remain undefeated against them in two matchups. They also earned a playoff berth in the process. The two teams now have the same overall record, 10-5. Puka Nacua (97 Rec Yds) was the determining factor this week, putting up 17.80 points for Minutemen. This was a downgrade, however, from the 25.90 points he got the last time these teams played.
Mixon had plenty of opportunities for Tejas Hombres, but could only manage 56 total yards on 17 touches.
Nacua has now led Minutemen in scoring for five consecutive weeks.
As the regular season comes to a close, both Minutemen and Tejas Hombres can now set their sights on a playoff run.
