Week 12 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Smash Mouth 1 Gets Comeback over Steel Curtain, Moves to 5th Place

Smash Mouth 1 remains unbeaten in two matchups against Steel Curtain with a 113.60 to 100.56 win. Their overall record goes to 6-6, while Steel Curtain falls to 5-7. DJ Moore (106 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the reason for the win, picking up 26.90 points for Smash Mouth 1. Moore has turned out to be a solid fifth-round grab for Smash Mouth 1 and has played like a top-tier wide receiver. The gap could have been wider as Smash Mouth 1 had a starter score zero points (Brock Purdy).

There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but left points out on the field. On the winning side, Jonathan Taylor got 11 touches but only tallied 35 total yards, while Joe Mixon was even less effective, managing just 45 yards on 19 touches for Steel Curtain.

While David Montgomery led Smash Mouth 1 with 24.50 points in Week 11, Moore paced the squad this week with 26.90.

Next week, Smash Mouth 1 meets Naked and Kincaid (8-4, 1,445.48). Steel Curtain gets Hooked On BoNix (8-4, 1,413.68).
