      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Kupp of Coffee Gives the Business to Jared to Get into Championship

Kupp of Coffee cranked it up, with a 142.32 to 97.18 blowout to remain undefeated in two matchups against Jared. Their record improves to 14-2, while Jared falls to 9-7. Jayden Daniels passed for five touchdowns and did the most damage this week, getting 34.42 points for Kupp of Coffee. Coming off his outstanding performance, Daniels has jumped into the top five for quarterbacks, producing 21.32 points per game. On top of the loss, Jared got zero points from Evan McPherson.

There was one starter on Jared that let some chances slip through his hands. Even though Tyreek Hill saw a total of seven targets, he reeled in just three catches.

For the winners, two players have been playing their best at the right time: Brian Thomas Jr. and Daniels. Over the past four fantasy matchups, that duo has surpassed their season scoring averages by 57% and 42%, respectively. Conversely, Kupp of Coffee has a player moving in the wrong direction. The Minnesota Vikings DEF has substantially underperformed their year-to-date average recently. Jared had a pair of players who were fading down the stretch: Dalton Kincaid and McPherson. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 3.70 and 4.25 points, respectively, falling short of their season-long marks by 43% and 35%.

Kupp of Coffee breezed into the playoffs following a dominating wire-to-wire regular season. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Kupp of Coffee faces No. 2-seeded NotLikeUs. Kupp of Coffee has a 1-1 record against NotLikeUs this season. Jared concluded the regular season in fourth place with a record of 9-6. Their record was a bit misleading, as they ranked just seventh in the league in scoring average at 110.76 points per game. Jared was one-and-done this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
