Week 8 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Jared took advantage of 28.30 points from James Cook (111 Rsh Yds, 2 TD) and 23.40 from Joe Mixon (102 Rsh Yds, 32 Rec Yds, 1 TD), edging Tyrone 109.26 to 106.22. Jared took a 0.96-point lead on Sunday afternoon and maintained that advantage for the rest of the matchup. After dropping their last three matchups, Tyrone has had a bad run. With Chris Godwin delivering zero points for Jared, the margin could have been larger. Jared (6-2, 941.52 points) falls to fourth place and Tyrone (1-7, 856.64 points) stays in ninth place.
Since Cook was the top point-getter for Jared, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 33.78 points, Joe Burrow paced the squad in Week 5, while Chris Godwin (35.50 points) was tops in Week 6 and Joe Mixon (26.40 points) in Week 7. Also, with 29 touches this week for Joe Mixon, it means that his touches have now increased in three consecutive games.
Next week, Jared will face 3F (1-7, 837.32), the last-place team in the league. Tyrone takes on Evan (3-5, 884.58).
