      Around The League
      • joel continues defying the pundits, and has beaten their projected score five weeks in a row.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 75.0% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (6-2 overall).
      • Teams have won 52.2% of the time this season when they throw no picks in a week.
      • Unfortunately, Jemom fell short of their projected score for the fourth straight week.
      • TEAM HULK is on a four-game winning streak.
      • Ho Malone has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.
      • Teams that had a top-5 scoring QB went 3-1 overall this week.
      • Gibby probably wishes they had started Jordan Addison. The 30.20 points he scored would have represented the third-highest individual score this week.

      Week 12 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Cope Steals Win from Jemom to Bring Series Record to 2-0

Cope beat Jemom 119.36 to 91.70 for their second win in as many head-to-head matchups. Their overall record goes to 8-4, while Jemom drops to 3-9. Patrick Mahomes passed for three touchdowns and was the determining factor this week, putting up 28.76 points. The Kansas City QB has lived up to his draft position for Cope, averaging 16.98 points per game.

There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but missed out on opportunities. On the Jemom, Jonathan Taylor got 11 touches but only tallied 35 total yards, while Joe Mixon was even less effective, managing just 45 yards on 19 touches for Cope.

Since Mahomes was the high scorer for Cope, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 27.00 points, Baker Mayfield paced the squad in Week 7, while Joe Mixon (23.40 points) was team-leader in Week 8 and Garrett Wilson (30.00 points) led the way in Week 9. James Conner (22.30 points) was tops in Week 10 and Taysom Hill (41.52 points) led in Week 11.

Cope will face first-place Evan (9-3, 1,382.90) next week. Jemom takes on Ho Malone (5-7, 1,410.08).
