Around The League
- Punt won this week, even without starting a top-30 scoring WR.
- Punt has now increased their score each of the past three weeks.
- No surprise here: teams have won 80.0% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (4-1 overall).
- Teams have won 51.2% of the time this season when they throw no picks in a week.
- one and only has now fallen short of their projected score for three weeks in a row.
- Unfortunately, TitanicUpset fell short of their projected score for the third straight week.
- Evan probably wishes they had started Ladd McConkey. The 29.10 points he scored would have represented the fifth-highest individual score this week.
- The 154.56 points scored by Leif were the most this week and the third-highest overall in the league this season.

Gang Gold Green took one from rex 148.14 to 144.18 while putting up the second-highest point total this week. A late push in prime time on Sunday Night Football (39.60 SNF points, 27% of their total score) wasn't enough for rex. This was extremely close, with the 3.96-point margin being the seventh-smallest recorded in the league this season. Gang Gold Green (5-3, 930.22 points) climbs into third place and rex (2-6, 892.76 points) stays in ninth place.
Dobbins had plenty of opportunities for rex, but could only manage 68 total yards on 21 touches.
Since Hurts was the leading scorer for Gang Gold Green, it means a different player has now led the team in each of the last seven matches. Also, with 17 targets this week for CeeDee Lamb, it means that his targets have now increased in four consecutive games.
In Week 9, Gang Gold Green will match up against Punt (2-6, 798.10), the last-place team in the league. rex takes on Red Dogs (6-2, 1,120.46), who sits in first place.
