Led by a Big Game from Josh Jacobs, Punt Gets Victory over one and only
With the output from Josh Jacobs leading the way, Punt defeated one and only 127.10 to 107.00. In the 20.10-point win for Punt, Jacobs exploded for 25.50 points. He scored two touchdowns as part of his showcase performance (127 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). He also recorded his highest point total of the season. With 127.10 points, Punt had their top total of the season. Punt (2-6, 798.10 points) remains mired in the cellar, while one and only (3-5, 962.28 points) stays in seventh place.
There was a player on both teams that had plenty of chances but didn't capitalize on opportunities. On the winning side, Alexander Mattison got 19 touches but only tallied 44 total yards, while Kareem Hunt managed just 63 yards on 22 touches for one and only.
While Bijan Robinson led Punt with 23.30 points in Week 7, Jacobs paced the squad this week with 25.50.
