      Week 7 Recap: Tuesday Edition

With a Pair of Detroit Lions Leading the Charge, Nightghost Blows Up Conner Cannons

The stellar outings by a dynamic duo of Detroit Lions (Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown) led the way for Nightghost. They overwhelmed Conner Cannons 116.10 to 65.54. That tandem teamed up to score 57.20 points in the win. Gibbs scored two touchdowns (116 Rsh Yds, 44 Rec Yds, 2 TD) to register 32.00 points, while Brown (112 Rec Yds, 1 TD) chipped in 25.20. Gibbs also recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week, with Brown tallying his highest point total of the season. Each team left something on the table as Nightghost had one starter turn in zero points and Conner Cannons also had one. Conner Cannons (2-5, 647.82 points) drops to ninth place, while Nightghost (3-4, 733.56 points) remains in seventh place.

Cook had plenty of opportunities for Conner Cannons, but could only manage 32 total yards on 12 touches.

Since Gibbs was the high scorer for Nightghost, it means that a different player has now led the team in each of the last six weeks. With 28.54 points, Kyler Murray paced the squad in Week 2, while Chris Olave (20.60 points) was team-leader in Week 3 and Amon-Ra St. Brown (20.78 points) led the way in Week 4. Rhamondre Stevenson (19.20 points) was tops in Week 5 and Jordan Love (25.62 points) led in Week 6. In addition to the fantasy victory, Nightghost was savvy enough to choose winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Tank Dell is the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 7.

Nightghost gets Desert Diablos (3-4, 848.02) next week, while Conner Cannons faces Max Chubb (4-3, 798.30).
