      Week 16 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Max Chubb Wins Against Patrik, Moves on to Consolation Championship

Max Chubb remains unbeaten against Patrik this season after yet another win, this time by a final score of 110.14 to 95.34. They go to 9-7, while Patrik drops to 4-12. De'Von Achane (120 Rsh Yds, 70 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the reason for the win, garnering 31.00 points. Following the exceptional performance, Achane has climbed into the top five for running backs, putting up 18.40 points per game. Each team left something on the table as Max Chubb had one starter turn in zero points and Patrik had three. This is the tightest win for Max Chubb in three head-to-head matchups. They beat Patrik 145.94 to 108.88 in Week 11 and again 139.32 to 116.26 in Week 2.

For the winning side, a pair of players have been peaking at the right time: Puka Nacua and A.J. Brown. Over the past month, that duo has exceeded their season scoring averages by 86% and 33%, respectively. Despite the loss, Patrik had a couple of players peaking for the postseason: Anthony Richardson and Nico Collins. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 17.19 and 17.70 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 68% and 42%. On the other hand, the losers had two players who were fading down the stretch: the Chicago Bears DEF and Breece Hall.
