WestFLGiants Pulls Off Comeback over Ben to Move into 8th Place
WestFLGiants had an excellent primetime showing with 37.20 points on Sunday Night Football and 24.54 on Monday (a combined 52% of their total score) to sneak past Ben 119.44 to 119.02. WestFLGiants was led by Alvin Kamara this week (155 Rsh Yds, 60 Rec Yds). The New Orleans RB rushed for 155 yards and contributed 27.50 points in the narrow victory. Patrick Mahomes also helped out with 24.54 points with three passing touchdowns (291 Pas Yds, 3 TD). Also, the 0.42-point win represented the slimmest in the league this year. WestFLGiants (3-6, 1,053.68 points) climbs into eighth place, while Ben (5-4, 1,100.06 points) drops to fourth place.
Aaron Jones had plenty of chances for WestFLGiants, but he logged just 82 total yards on 25 touches.
Since Kamara was the leading point-getter for WestFLGiants, it means a different player has now topped the team in each of the past five weeks. With 29.30 points, Tee Higgins paced the squad in Week 5, while Baker Mayfield put up 25.90 points to lead the way in Week 6. Mark Andrews (20.10 points) was tops in Week 7 and Jonathan Taylor (18.70 points) led in Week 8. It wasn't all bad news for Ben, as they did field a squad of real-life winners.
