      Week 8 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Clinton Gets Comeback over PollonioFC and Hands Them 3rd Straight Loss

Clinton had an excellent primetime performance with 65.60 points on Sunday Night Football (43% of their total score) to pull off the comeback against PollonioFC 152.00 to 123.56. The late heroics were especially impressive, as they were originally projected to tally just 34.01 points on Sunday night. Clinton was led by CeeDee Lamb this week (146 Rec Yds, 2 TD). Lamb scored two touchdowns and added 39.60 points to the cause. James Cook also pitched in with 28.30 points by getting two touchdowns (111 Rsh Yds, 2 TD). With the Miami Dolphins DEF delivering zero points for Clinton, the margin could have been larger. Also, with 152.00 points, Clinton had their highest overall total of the season. Clinton (6-2, 988.38 points) remains in second place, while PollonioFC (3-5, 972.92 points) stays in sixth place.

Dobbins had plenty of opportunities for PollonioFC, but could only manage 68 total yards on 21 touches.

Since Lamb was the top point-getter for Clinton, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 23.70 points, Brock Bowers paced the squad in Week 5, while Brock Purdy (24.10 points) was tops in Week 6 and Tank Bigsby (23.80 points) last week.

Next week, Clinton squares off against Adirondacks Waffles (3-5, 890.86), while PollonioFC gets Karrie (6-2, 956.26).
