The output of Jalen Hurts played an integral role, as Michael beat Steven Ed 170.94 to 141.62. In the 29.32-point triumph for Michael, Hurts went off for 35.14 points. He scored three touchdowns as part of his signature performance (236 Pas Yds, 37 Rsh Yds, 1 Pas TD, 3 Rsh TD). He also recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week. With 170.94 points, Michael had the second-best total in the league this season. Michael (7-1, 1,056.30 points) remains in second place, while Steven Ed (3-5, 856.74 points) stays in sixth place.
Kareem Hunt had plenty of chances for Michael, but he logged just 63 total yards on 22 touches.
While Jahmyr Gibbs led Michael with 32.00 points in Week 7, Hurts paced the squad this week with 35.14. In addition to the fantasy victory, Michael was savvy enough to pick winners in real life, as well. Among all of their starters, Brian Thomas Jr. was the only one that didn't play on a winning NFL team in Week 8.
Next week, Michael gets Paneendra babu (5-3, 979.00), while Steven Ed matches up against Bruce (3-5, 681.80).
