Final Score 83.20 | 93.08 |
Down 28.50 on Sunday night, Andrew came back, taking down Efrain 93.08 to 83.20. Andrew picked up 22.00 points from Travis Kelce (100 Rec Yds) and 21.58 from Justin Jefferson (137 Rec Yds). This was a back-and-forth battle that saw the lead change hands three times, with the largest lead being 28.50 points after Sunday evening. Andrew piled up 37.0% more points than projected (67.96) while Efrain fell short of their projections and scored only 82.1% of their projected 101.40 points. Both teams left points off the scoreboard as Andrew had three starters turn in zero points and Efrain had one. Andrew (3-6, 876.42 points) climbs into seventh place and Efrain (2-7, 901.92 points) drops to ninth place.
Cam Akers really deserved more touches for Andrew, as he put up a whopping 53 total yards on just eight touches. There are a couple of spots where Efrain wishes they could get a do-over, as DeAndre Hopkins could have started in place of either Marvin Harrison Jr. or Drake London. Either of those point differentials would've been enough to win.
While Brock Purdy led Andrew with 26.00 points last week, Kelce paced the squad this week with 22.00.
Andrew faces TasmanianDevil (5-4, 971.04) in Week 10. Efrain plays Bruce (3-6, 758.42).
With seven catches for 137 yards, Jefferson has at least 100 receiving yards in each of his last two games.
It was a season high in yards receiving for Kelce this week, as he snagged 14 catches for 100 yards.
McBride (35 Rec Yds, 1 Rsh TD) scored 12.70 points, the ninth-highest score of any TE in the league this week.
With 10.00 points (18 PA, 5 Sack, 2 Fum), the Bengals Defense tallied the 10th-highest score for a DEF this week.
Tucker scored 11.00 points, the fourth-highest score of any K in the league this week.
Hopkins scored 4.00 points, just 52.6% of his 7.60-point projection. It's the fifth time this season that he failed to beat his projected score.
