Alex Beats FinleyPacker, Tacks On 4th Consecutive Win
A primetime comeback on Monday Night Football (57.40 points, 41% of their total score) wasn't enough for FinleyPacker, as Alex earned the 168.00 to 139.32 victory. The late-match efforts were a little unexpected, considering their original Monday projection was only 43.35 points. Alex was led by Justin Jefferson this week (132 Rec Yds, 2 TD). The Minnesota WR scored two touchdowns and contributed 32.20 points to the cause. Jauan Jennings also pitched in with 28.00 points with two touchdowns (90 Rec Yds, 2 TD). The 168.00 points represented the second-best total in the league this season, as well. Alex (8-6, 1,712.12 points) climbs into third place. FinleyPacker, despite the loss, clinches a playoff spot this week (first place, 12-2, 1,956.60 points).
Achane had plenty of opportunities for FinleyPacker, but could only manage 69 total yards on 20 touches.
Alex was on another level with their wideouts, as they started two of the league's top-10 overall WRs this week. While Saquon Barkley led Alex with 19.70 points in Week 13, Jefferson paced the squad this week with 32.20. To go along with the fantasy victory, Alex was savvy enough to choose winners in real-life football, as well. Among all of their starters, Davante Adams was the only one that suited up on a losing NFL team in Week 14.
