Led by a Big Game from Jayden Daniels, Glassman's Broncos Gets into Championship
With the output from Jayden Daniels playing a key factor, Glassman's Broncos beat Belgian Beer Bellies 135.32 to 107.56. Daniels went off for 34.42 points in a 27.76-point win for Glassman's Broncos. He passed for five touchdowns as part of his big outing (258 Pas Yds, 81 Rsh Yds, 5 TD/2 Int). He also recorded the third-highest point total in the league this week.
Robinson had plenty of opportunities for Belgian Beer Bellies, but could only manage 41 total yards on 12 touches.
In addition to the fantasy W, Glassman's Broncos was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, Joe Mixon was the only one whose NFL team lost in Week 16.
For the victorious side, several players have been hitting their strides at the right time, including the Kansas City Chiefs DEF and Daniels. Over the past month, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 51% and 42%, respectively. Despite the loss, Belgian Beer Bellies had a few players peaking for the postseason, most notably Nico Collins and Tee Higgins. Over the past month, that combo has averaged 17.70 and 15.45 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 42% and 41%.
Glassman's Broncos squeezed into the playoffs as the No. 4 seed. Next week, the league championship will be decided when Glassman's Broncos faces No. 2-seeded Bulls on Parade. Glassman's Broncos is undefeated against Bulls on Parade in two matchups this season, with their last win coming in Week 12. Belgian Beer Bellies wrapped up the regular season in first place with a record of 12-3. Their record was a bit misleading, as they ranked just fourth in the league in scoring average at 130.85 points per game. Belgian Beer Bellies was bounced early this postseason, losing in their first playoff matchup.
