Bet the dog Picks Up Win Against Wings of Winter, Remains Unbeaten in Series
Bet the dog moves to 2-0 versus Wings of Winter with an 87.14 to 78.60 victory. Their overall record goes to 5-10, while Wings of Winter falls to 4-11. Malik Nabers (82 Rec Yds, 1 TD) was the key player this week, picking up 24.20 points. Nabers was a great mid-round selection for Bet the dog and has played like a top-tier wide receiver. The gap could have been wider as Bet the dog had a starter score zero points (Amari Cooper).
Wings of Winter had one noteworthy player that missed out on some opportunities. Even though Jauan Jennings saw a total of nine targets, he only reeled in two catches. One spot where Wings of Winter really made a regrettable decision is wide receiver. Xavier Worthy could have started in place of Jauan Jennings, and that point difference would have been enough to secure the victory.
Since Nabers was the top point-getter for Bet the dog, it means a different player has led the team in each of the last four weeks. With 20.20 points, George Kittle paced the squad in Week 12, while Najee Harris (24.90 points) was tops in Week 13 and Joe Burrow (24.56 points) last week.
