With a Pair of Detroit Lions Leading the Charge, Turf Toe Joes Embarrasses CHOICE WAIVERS
The top performances by a couple of Detroit Lions (Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jared Goff) led the way for Turf Toe Joes. They dismantled CHOICE WAIVERS 150.58 to 97.84. That tandem teamed up to score 73.28 points in the victory. Brown racked up 161 yards (161 Rec Yds, 2 TD), adding 38.70 points. Goff recorded four passing touchdowns (412 Pas Yds, 4 TD) to chip in 34.58 points. Brown also recorded the second-highest point total in the league this week, with Goff tallying his highest point total of the season. The margin could have been larger as Turf Toe Joes had a starter score zero points (Tucker Kraft). Turf Toe Joes (7-4, 1,367.46 points) remains in third place, while CHOICE WAIVERS (8-3, 1,398.64 points) stays in second place.
Tony Pollard had plenty of chances for Turf Toe Joes, but he logged just 29 total yards on 11 touches.
While Rachaad White led Turf Toe Joes in Week 10 with 19.00 points, St. Brown paved the way this week with 38.70. It wasn't all bad news for CHOICE WAIVERS, as they did put together a team of real-life winners. Every starter except Terry McLaurin played for an NFL team that won this week.
