      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

      Craig Creeps Past CHOICE WAIVERS

Craig got 29.70 points from Mike Evans (97 Rec Yds, 2 TD) and 22.90 from Puka Nacua (129 Rec Yds) to slip by CHOICE WAIVERS 121.64 to 116.78. Craig goes to 2-1 this season against CHOICE WAIVERS, including a Week 13 win (141.56 to 133.42). CHOICE WAIVERS was led by Trey McBride with 30.30 points (123 Rec Yds, 1 TD) and Ladd McConkey, who scored 29.40 (94 Rec Yds, 2 TD).

CHOICE WAIVERS had one rather noticeable starter that failed to capitalize on opportunites. Terry McLaurin could only reel in a single catch, despite seeing a total of seven targets.

For the winning team, a few players have been postseason stars, including the Baltimore Ravens DEF and T.J. Hockenson. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 174% and 72%, respectively. Conversely, Craig has two players heading in the opposite direction. Joe Mixon and Rhamondre Stevenson have both fallen well beneath their year-to-date averages during the postseason. Despite the loss, CHOICE WAIVERS also had a couple of players performing their best in the playoffs: McConkey and McBride. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 22.05 and 17.65 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 70% and 32%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 16.41 points on the season, Terry McLaurin mustered just 9.25 per game in the playoffs.
