      Around The League
      • Rockland Raiders won this week, even without starting a top-15 scoring QB.
      • The Jokers was tough to beat with the league's top-scoring QB (Burrow with 36.98 points) and the top-scoring WR (Higgins with 40.10) this week.
      • No surprise here: teams have won 69.2% of the time this season when starting the league's top-scoring QB of the week (9-4 overall).
      • Farkas Forkballs is on a four-game winning streak.
      • Packers Aus has now decreased their score each of the past three weeks.
      • Violators has now fallen short of their projected score for three weeks in a row.
      • Rockland Raiders is on a three-game winning streak.
      • Maserati Marv probably wishes they had started Baker Mayfield. The 34.56 points he scored would have represented the fourth-highest individual score this week.

      Week 17 Recap: Tuesday Edition

Farkas Forkballs Steals Win from Packers Aus, Wins League Championship

Farkas Forkballs was clutch when the lights came on with 70.00 points on Monday Night Football (42% of their total score) to seal the comeback against Packers Aus 166.82 to 120.78. The late heroics were somewhat unexpected, since they were originally projected to have 47.58 points on Monday night. Farkas Forkballs was led by Lamar Jackson, who contributed 29.42 points to the total (168 Pas Yds, 87 Rsh Yds, 2 Pas TD, 1 Rsh TD). In addition to that, with 166.82 points, Farkas Forkballs had the seventh-best total in the league this season.

Bigsby had plenty of opportunities for Packers Aus, but could only manage 33 total yards on 11 touches.

In addition to the fantasy victory, Farkas Forkballs was savvy enough to pick winners in real football, as well. Among all of their starters, George Kittle was the only one that didn't play on a winning NFL team in Week 17.

For the victors, several players have been late-season stars, including Jameson Williams and Cameron Dicker. During the playoffs, that duo has topped their season scoring averages by 112% and 41%, respectively. Conversely, Farkas Forkballs has a player heading in the opposite direction. Brian Robinson has substantially underperformed his year-to-date average in the postseason by 44%. Despite the loss, Packers Aus had a few players performing their best in the playoffs, most notably Jake Elliott and Puka Nacua. During the postseason, that combo has averaged 14.00 and 18.25 points, respectively, topping their season-long marks by 84% and 49%. On the other hand, the losers had a player who was sputtering under the brightest lights. Averaging 23.74 points on the season, Josh Allen mustered just 17.07 per game in the playoffs.

Farkas Forkballs ended the regular season in first place with a record of 11-4. They also ranked first in the league with 145.57 points per game. In their only other postseason game on their trek to a title, Farkas Forkballs took down Violators, 142.08 to 126.08. They had the league's best average scoring margin this season, outpacing opponents by 36.64 points per game. Packers Aus concluded the regular season with a record of 11-4, good for second place. In terms of scoring average, they ranked slightly worse (fourth with 120.10). In their only other postseason game of the season, Packers Aus beat The Jokers, 131.36 to 102.78.
