      Derick Scrapes Past Mark, Climbs to 8th Place

      Derick got 28.76 points from Patrick Mahomes (269 Pas Yds, 60 Rsh Yds, 3 TD) and 20.60 from De'Von Achane (32 Rsh Yds, 2 Rec TD) to slip by Mark 115.76 to 111.52. Derick took a 1.80-point lead on Thursday and remained in front for the rest of the matchup. Derick goes to 1-1 this season against Mark, avenging a Week 3 loss (92.18 to 86.48) the last time the teams met. DeAndre Hopkins (acquired via free agency in Week 7) has been a key addition for Derick, ranking 25th among wide receivers over the last four weeks. Derick (4-8, 1,271.10 points) climbs into eighth place and Mark (3-9, 1,252.50 points) is still looking up at everyone from the cellar.

      For Derick, the Rams Defense wasn't just the lone DEF to earn a negative score; they represented the only fantasy starter throughout the whole league in the red. J.K. Dobbins ultimately deserved more touches for Mark, as he put up an efficient 59 all-purpose yards on just nine total touches.

      While Amon-Ra St. Brown led Derick in Week 11 with 38.70 points, Mahomes paved the way this week with 28.76.

      Next week, Derick will match up against Jacob (9-3, 1,383.50). Mark takes on LoveGreeN (5-7, 1,405.12).
